Political Contribution Tax Credits
A portion of the value of contributions, whether in cash or in kind, that have been made to a registered political party, registered constituency association, or registered candidate, may be deducted from taxes payable to Alberta. Official Receipts issued for Annual Contributions and/or Campaign Contributions qualify for a tax credit. The following example shows how to calculate the tax credit.
