Contributions

Every registered party, registered constituency association, and registered candidate must file two reports with the Chief Electoral Officer, to comply with the Election Finances and Contributions Disclosure Act:

a listing of all contributions received that are less than $375.01, in aggregate, from any single contributor; and
a listing of all contributions received that exceed $375.00 in aggregate from any single contributor. This listing details the name and address, of each contributor, along with the amount and date of the contribution.

Contributions can be made by a person resident in Alberta, a corporation that carries on business in Alberta, and a trade union or employee organization that holds bargaining rights for employees in Alberta.
