The Chief Electoral Officer is responsible for the administration of:
Three provincial statutes:

the Election Act,
the Election Finances and Contributions Disclosure Act and
the Senatorial Selection Act.

Three Regulations:

the Election Act Forms Regulation prescribes certain forms to be used for election administration;
the Election Act Fees and Expenses Regulation prescribes the fees and expenses payable to election officers and to other service providers; and
the Prohibited Corporations Regulation designates prohibited corporations for the purposes of the Election Finances and Contributions Disclosure Act.
