The Chief Electoral Officer is required, by law, to prepare and file certain prescribed reports.
As required by the Election Finances and Contributions Disclosure Act, the Chief Electoral Officer submits an annual report to the Standing Committee on Legislative Offices. The report provides consolidated information from the financial statements of registered parties, constituency associations, candidates, third party advertisers and leadership contests.
As required by the Election Act, the Chief Electoral Officer submits a report to the Standing Committee on Legislative Offices following each enumeration, election, by-election, plebiscite and referendum. The report provides detailed information on each activity, and presents poll-by-poll results of election reports.
Reports are also available in this section.
