Ways You Can Vote
All eligible electors residing in the electoral division of Calgary-Shaw may cast their ballot using any of the following options throughout the election period.
Advance Voting
Electors may vote at any advance voting place in their electoral division from Tuesday, September 8, to Saturday, September 12.

Vote at your Assigned Place on Election Day
Electors may apply to vote by special ballot if they are unable to vote during advance voting days or on Election Day.
All Election Day voting places will be open from 9:00am to 8:00pm.

Voting By Mail
Electors may apply to vote by special ballot if they are unable to vote during advance voting days or on Election Day.
Special Ballots may also be picked up at the returning office or Elections Alberta in Edmonton, picked up by a designate of the elector, or mailed to the elector.
Requests for a special ballot to be mailed out can only be made until midnight on September 4, 2026.
Completed special ballot packages must be received at Elections Alberta by mail by 5:00pm on September 11, 2026. Special ballots cannot be delivered in person.
