Official Results for Provincial By-Elections

EDMONTON – Elections Alberta has announced the Official Results for the provincial by-elections in Edmonton-Ellerslie, Edmonton-Strathcona, and Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills held on June 23, 2025.
The successful candidates were:
- Gurtej Brar in Edmonton-Ellerslie, representing the Alberta New Democratic Party.
- Naheed Nenshi in Edmonton-Strathcona, representing the Alberta New Democratic Party.
- Tara Sawyer in Old-Didsbury-Three Hills, representing the United Conservative Party of Alberta.
Official Results are available on the Elections Alberta website, elections.ab.ca, under “Election Results” or by visiting officialresults.elections.ab.ca. Results include information on the number of ballots cast, number of electors on the List of Electors including new registrations, and voting area results for each candidate.
The voter turnout was:
- 24.5% in Edmonton-Ellerslie
- 32.0% in Edmonton-Strathcona
- 38.8% in Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills
