If you are already registered to vote, you’re all set. If you have voted in a previous provincial election, registered by using our online tool or contacting Elections Alberta by phone or email to register, or received a birthday card from Elections Alberta when you turned 18 telling you we had automatically registered you, and you have not moved, changed your name, or asked to be removed from the List of Electors, you are registered to vote.
If you are not registered, or you have moved or changed your name, you can register when you go to vote. You will need to complete a declaration and show authorized identification.

Our service centre is open:
- 8:15am to 8:00pm weekdays,
- 8:15am to 6:00pm weekends, and
- 8:15am to 8:00pm on advance voting days and Election Day.
